I Had An Accident - That Turned To A Trick Shot

Friday November 7, 2008
trick shot, pool trick shots, trick shots, billiard trick shots, billiards trick shots, billiard trick shot, tricks shots The Trick Shot Taken From Beyond The Grave

I made a happy, goofy blunder shot this week. And I estimate the odds at around 1 in 10,000 for this stroke.

Why not learn from my mistake and incorporate this stroke into your personal repertoire? It couldn’t hurt to learn this one, especially if you know the hook (slight billiards pun intended).

What’s the funniest pool gaff you’ve ever made? My wedding trick shot was made purposefully, and eventually paid off with a spouse, two fine children and a 30-year fixed mortgage. It’s a fine bank shot anyone can learn with ten minutes’ application, unlike the doofy bank I missed (made?) earlier this week at a favorite (one I now avoid for shame) poolroom.

Sometimes I think I’ve seen it all at the tables, and I am planning to bring forward quite a number of goofy trick and happy accident strokes to you during this week, along with my usual charming pool instruction and billiards news here at About.com.

But here’s my question for the day. If I keep making stupid goof shots as in the one I’ve diagrammed and linked to this blog report, will I have to wear protective underwear for incontinence at the pool hall? I guess it all really “Depends”. Hmmm…

Hey, in the immortal words of Britney Spears:
