I won't enjoy "dining" at this pool table

A look from this angle shows how poor a choice it is to turn away from the table fully.

Standing with the feet turned 90 degrees away from the table (parallel to the cuestick) is not a good play. As seen here, it requires an awkward bending of the head and trunk to play. There are some notable exceptions, but over time most pool players' games will break down with this method. There is light at the end of the tunnel, however.
