Thick Cut

Definition: A hit by one ball upon another, that is at a cut angle close to zero degrees. Somewhat less than a full shot, a shot where the cue ball hits solidly into the object while not aimed straight into it.
Also Known As: Thick Hit
Examples:
A thick cut on the object ball tends to slow the cue ball down.
