Here is where the reverse slip becomes astonishingly different than a classic pool stroke.

On the final stroke forward, I not only move my shooting hand forward, I throw the cuestick through a very relaxed right hand! This creates much added power on the final stroke. Since the classic pool stroke is basically a throwing motion, there is little fear that the cue's path will be less than straight.
