Straight Pool

Definition: Game officially called 14.1 Continuous, where more than one rack is needed to determine a winner. The fifteenth and last ball of each rack is left where it lies, and the other fourteen are racked up. Fourteen-One is more commonly called “Straight Pool” or “Straights”.
Also Known As: 14.1 Continuous Pool, Straights (archaic term)
Examples:
It's been said that the true test of pool courage is a game to 125 points of Straight Pool, running through ten racks of pool or more.
