Shooting Arm

Definition: The arm whose hand grips the cuestick toward its rear and guides it through the pool stroke. If a player has a dominant hand, they will use that side of their body for shooting pool and that side’s arm will provide most of the force and finesse of the shot in most instances.
Examples:
The pro’s shooting arm only moved during her shot in a graceful, pendulum-like motion.
