Race

Definition: Describes the number of games the players need to win a “best of” series. For example, a best three-of-five games’ match would be called a “race to three”.
Examples:
With one win under my belt, I needed two games in the race to three--or four-fingered Louie and the boys would be meeting me out back for a correction session with my skull.
