Following a roof collapse at Bucks County, Pennsylvania’s tallest building, a recently completed $12 Million renovation includes a billiards center.

At the senior living facility, Heritage Towers, during the extensive renovations, a 25-ton section of new flooring crashed to the roof below during construction. Thankfully, no one was injured seriously but about half the residents needed to evacuate the building.

The new ninth floor includes a business center, lending library and cozy living area complete with coffee bar and fireplace. Residents have formed a billiards club inside their new billiards facility.

Truly, billiards is the game of a lifetime. Only failing eyesight can retire a player. Billiards is now keeping some of Bucks County’s most seasoned citizens, active, walking (a prolonged match of pool can include five miles’ walk around the table or more) and alert, considering the beauty, trigonometry and geometry of the pool table.
