The new challenging pool table game of "9 Ball Tag™" had the Atlanta crowd bobbling with fun, laughter, and competitiveness at the recent Atlanta Billiard Show. Olhausen Billiards and Bobbleball.com sponsored a $3,000.oo entry fee-free "9 Ball Tag" tournament open to all players--who were knocked out of the many other events as a second chance to win some cash.
With almost 90 players participating in three different events the tournament format consisted of a race to four games, single elimination. The tournament director was professional Steve "Pastor of Pool" Lillis, founder of Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc., an organization that demonstrates "Life Lessons" through artistic pool to audiences around the world.
The strategy of "9 Ball Tag" requires players to "tag" the Bobble Ball with the cue ball in between every shot in order to earn the right to shoot at the next ball in rotation. The challenge is that the tag must be executed through a "kick shot" meaning that the cue ball must kick a minimum of one cushion before touching the egg-shaped and wildly rolling Bobble Ball.
Other than "This is a fun game!" the most common response heard by players was, "This game requires you to think!"
Bobble Ball Tag Ball® naturally improves your kicking, speed control, and understanding of pool table dynamics.
