Lights Out

By Matthew Sherman, About.com

Definition: A player who is shooting top notch pool is said to be "shooting the lights out". Refers to aim and accuracy, like a gun toting trick shot artist who can break glass at a distance.
Examples:
When Michelle went lights out, it was curtains for the rest of pool's starring cast.
