To paraphrase Sun Tzu's classic Art of War, know what the other pool shooter can do but deny what you can do, and had you 100 battles, you would win 50. Know your limitations but not your opponent's, and you shall also emerge with the trophy half the time. Acknowledge yourself and your opponent's pool strengths correctly and you will win every game of pool and become "the shark".
