"ONE-BALL": Played with balls 1 through 10.
A point game, the 1-ball--and only the 1-ball--is worth a point. A player continues to shoot provided he sinks a ball. Every time the 1-ball is sunk it is withdrawn and placed on the focus (head spot, center spot or foot spot) of the shooter's choosing.
The game ends when either only the 1-ball remains on the table OR when a player reaches ten points--whichever occurs first. If it's a tie when the one-ball remains, then obviously it's sudden death. (Call the pocket for the one ball, perhaps, for an added challenge?)
