Full Hit

Definition: When a ball’s center is lined up directly for collision with an object ball’s center. From the player’s perspective, the view of the cue ball fully obscures the view of the object ball, like an eclipse, as the cue hits the object ball “full in its face”.
Also Known As: Full Shot
Examples:
The simplest plan to stop or slow a cue ball after it hits another ball is to aim for a full hit.
