Please tell our About.com readers about your pool league and general pool experience...

I started playing pool in 2004. I wanted to take up a hobby that my husband, Rick, and I could do together. It was a tough road, but I kept at it. Rick and I joined the APA in 2006 at SlapShots Billiards in Merrimack, NH. Our team, “The Cue-Z's” won 1st Place (Tri-Cup) in Plaistow, NH in 2007. The session prior to that we were in last place.

So as you can see our team has come a long way. The team is heading back to Plaistow this summer for the Regionals. We're hoping to get to "Vegas" and the experience of a lifetime!

Your items are a hit with some pool pros and the general public. Are you manufacturing them full time?

I create the FingerSlides and Cue Tip Covers/Cue-Z’s for 30 hours a week. I enjoy sewing and find it relaxing at times. I spend about 10 hours a week on packaging and shipping. I spend another 30+ hours on the Internet, selling. Twice a month I'm out buying all the supplies for the business.

My least favorite task is the paperwork; banking, books, receipts and of course keeping track of everything. My top priority is my customers. I'm "Old School", I want to be proud to put my name on my product! I follow the "Golden Rule" in my personal and business life.

This special rule I learned from my mother, who always put everyone else first in her life. I lost her in 1987.
