Matt "Quick Draw" Sherman directs the University of Florida's Pool League in Gainesville, Florida, which has produced half-a-dozen national champions, and is author of Picture Yourself Shooting Pool.
Experience:
Sherman has taught hundreds of students pool fundamentals and advanced techniques and won Gainesville, Florida's University of Florida crown many times as the best pool shooter among 65,000-plus university students and employees.
Sherman has appeared internationally on television and in print, hosting pool and other entertainment personalities including experts and Oscarİ and Tonyİ award winners. He has appeared on NBC, ABC, CBS, Discovery, HGTV, VH-1, TNN, C-SPAN, and on radio, and has been quoted in the L.A. Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Las Vegas Sun, New Orleans Times-Picayune, Time and Time Europe and in numerous other publications.
Education:
Sherman studied Computer Sciences at Santa Fe Community College and Religion at UF, with the computing degree coming in handy for pool theorems, statistical analysis and experiments.
