Take this billiard pool table for a spin?Call it circular reasoning, but this is flat out one of the more bizarre setups I’ve seen for a billiard pool table.
Um, this should go in the what-were-they-thinking file but perhaps some of you have a different “perspective” on this curious table. For example, theoretically speaking on a round table, a bank shot struck hard enough, really any bank shot taken in any direction, will eventually go into a pocket on a round table… or am I confusing the example with that of an elliptical table with a pocket on the felt at each of its two foci?
In the table's defense, however, there are 7-inch straight rails set cleverly between each of the pockets, allowing for some traditional and even around-the-table bank shots to be attempted.
I’ve played billiard pool on Snooker tables, which can truly sharpen your accuracy, Three Cushion Billiards tables, and Bumper Pool tables. But this round table ought to be reserved for King Arthur. Or am I being too harsh?
I mean, what do the commentators say on television?
“Welcome to the 8th Annual Round Table Billiard Pool Championships. And here on table Pi, Randy Rounchofsky is faced with 537 possibilities on the 3-ball…”
“Frank, if Randy crosses over for the 4-ball instead, I’d say his possibilities approach infinite sum zero instead…”

I invented a more unique version of the round pool table. But for now, it’s a secret…
