Meet Your Pool & Billiards Guide

Just enjoyed a couple of last-minute quick days with family in NYC, and while unable to visit with About.com friends, I was able to step inside Blatt Billiards and check on the state of the gaming nation at one of America’s top pool and billiards shops.

As always, the main showroom is impressive with racks upon racks of functional and glamorous cues ranging from $60 to $6,000 or more.

I’m back in Florida just in time to meet with some of you at The Game Room inside the J. Wayne Reitz Union at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida, this Thursday, July 7.

Many of About.com's pool readers are local to this Florida pool hall and I will be performing for you a free pool demonstration and seminar including audience participation, prize giveaways and trick shots, besides an author's book signing.

I am looking forward to meeting some of you there and to helping better your pool game. Please let me know your thoughts when you attend--and do let me know where you might like to see me appear next. I am planning on attending the big three pool and billiards conventions in 2009, besides other appearances, and I know many of you will be hitting those highlights of pool as well.
